Research notes
This toy is almost a copy of a Wuco (no. 255) toy, the differences being the plastic Goofy head and the litography; produced under an official Walt Disney Productions license; "trimardeur" roughly translates to a traveling dockworker/laborer; the toy has printed "Imprimeto R. Bindschedler", which was a prominent lithographic printing house based in Paris, France, active throughout the mid-20th century. This means that GEM assembled the toy's mechanics, whiler Bindschedler was hired to print the graphic designs directly onto the sheet metal before it was stamped into the final shape
