Manufactured to capitalize on the global excitement surrounding the Space Race following the launch of Sputnik in October 1957; the toy was also made by Joustra in 1958, with same no. and a specific box, named "Satellite Artificiel"; similar toy made by Joustra " Le Stellite Artificiel" ref 825 55 (32)
