Joaquín Valero Santonja (later changed to Joaquín Valero, S.R.C. in 1956, and legally registered as Juguetes Vercor, S.A. in February 1962; in their earliest years, Vercor toys relied strictly on lithographed tinplate sheet metal, clockwork spring motors, and key wind-up mechanics. By the late 1950s and early 1960s, Vercor became a pioneer in blending lithographed tin bases with plastic injection components
