Designed in 1889 on the model of hamson London cabs; A hansom cab (frequently misspelled as "hamson cab") is a two-wheeled horse-drawn carriage that served as the primary taxicab of the 19th and early 20th centuries; LI and LA are diminutives for (Lieselotte and Laura), sisters of EPL; produced in various colours; pats.
